A Note from Our Aromatherapist
The aromatherapy products developed by EssentiallYours are the result of an evolutionary process that has taken place over the past twenty years. It began when my husband was told by his dermatologist that he would have to use cortisone on a regular basis for his eczema. I was appalled! The damage that cortisone causes to the skin was a cost that was simply not acceptable to me and I believed that there had to be something better. I studied Edgar Cayce’s therapies, homeopathy, naturopathy, and finally aromatherapy (the study of the skilled and controlled use of essential oils for physical and emotional health and well being). The blend I created for my husband’s eczema worked miraculously, clearing up his eczema in just a few hours. He’s been using this blend ever since and has not had the need for prescription cortisone . (It also works wonderfully on psoriasis.)

Friends and family came to me to have blends done for their ailments, and I felt it necessary to further my study and became a Certified Aromatherapist.

Products containing essential oils are becoming very popular in today's consumer market and the oils are being recognized for their time honored properties. Aromatherapy products are however, not for everyone. For example, chamomile and lavender oils promote and regularize menstrual flow and therefore should not be used by pregnant women. Eucalyptus oil should be avoided by people suffering from high blood pressure or epilepsy. Several essential oils are known to antidote homeopathic remedies. EssentiallYours provides a list of precautions relative to the essential oils contained in the products we produce.

When you start using essential oils it is important to remember that the body will be releasing toxins. In order to assist your body flush these toxins out of the system, drink lots of water - at least 8 to 12 glasses every day.
